On August 31, I moved to one of the lowest countries on earth, (the Netherlands) to research flood risk management and I owe many thanks to the Fulbright Exchange program for providing me with this opportunity.

Fulfilling a life-long “dream” of living in another country, I’m now able to do so for 9 whole months.

I intend to stay in touch via-this thing… which will recount my very exciting and completely not-exaggerated  daily life here in Delft and perhaps some travel adventures as well.

So…if you can hear yourself read over the sound of the torrential rains (sounding like hammers) bludgeoning on my roof, please read on.

Did somebody say that it sometimes rains here?

Please drop me a line!
